“The gospel is only good news if it gets there on time.”
– Carl FH Henry, one of the founders of Fuller Seminary
The gospel, however, is no ordinary good news. This is critical news that saves lives, transforms communities, gives meaning, hope, identity, purpose, freedom and so much more. Without it we are lost. Without it our friends, family, neighbours and colleagues are lost.
So many live with a gnawing emptiness and the feeling that all is not as it should be, and they are right. They are separated from God who loves them, created them and has a wonderful plan and purpose for them. But how will they know, unless someone tells them.
Is there a way to raise your readiness?
Absolutely?
Is there a way to conquer fear of sharing your faith?
Most certainly!
Is there a way to engage people in God conversations without it being awkward but feeling natural?
That’s how it should be!
Are you ready to go and tell?
Maybe not yet, but maybe, just maybe…
YOU ARE MORE READY THAN YOU THINK
YOU ARE MORE READY THAN YOU THINK
Ready for what? To engage your world and lead someone to Christ. The harvest is also more ready than we think. That’s what Jesus told His disciples just after an unlikely woman had just decided to follow Him. This untrained non-professional brought a city to Christ where the trained disciples had failed to make any impact. Why was she ready when His disciples were not? Can we have what she had?
When reading More Ready Than You Think, you will be inspired by stories from the trenches about ordinary people engaging others with the gospel. You will discover practical principles to activate sharing your faith, that can be applied by anyone anywhere. You will invest in growing your confidence and competence to share God’s love and truth with impact. You will raise your readiness to lead the lost to Christ.
